Transnational Diversified Group, Inc., a firm with a strong presence in the maritime, travel and ICT industries, expects to continue posting double-digit top and bottomline growth as it pursues both organic growth and new businesses.

The group was founded in 1976 by TDG chairman J. Roberto Delgado who has just turned over the helm of the company to his sons and Harvard alumni Rashid Alexander Delgado and Zaki Delgado, TDG’s chief executive officer and chief innovation and information officer, respectively.

According to Rashid Delgado, net income this year is expected to jump 25 percent following a three-year compounded annual growth rate of 23 percent from 2012 to 2014. “Net income is projected to follow a similar trajectory this year,” he said.

On the other hand, revenues are projected to grow 30 percent from 2013 to 2015 although turnover sales are conservatively forecast to increase by only around 10 percent from 2014 to 2015 due to extraordinary income in 2014.

To date TDG’s largest businesses remain in Cargo Logistics, which together with ICT are geared towards a robust growth performance by taking advantage of improving national economic performance, increasing technology adoption, connectivity, and strengthening IT infrastructure in the Philippines.

“Moreover, TDG is expected to expand and grow its operations in the Business and Knowledge Process Outsourcing businesses through ePerformax International, Inc. and NYK-TDG eBusiness Corporation,” said Zaki Delgado.

He added that the company sees continued growth in demand given the competitive advantage of the Filipino people, combined with TDG’s recruitment and training expertise.

Delgado also noted that subsidiary Easycall Communications Philippines, Inc. will pursue the wireless broadband opportunity via IP broadband managed services through VSAT, as its first major roll out application for the broadband license under its telco franchise.

Meanwhile, TDG is looking to expand into new businesses and industries. Rashid Delgado said TDG continues to be driven in large part by market opportunities and the desire to enhance its services and add value to its existing portfolio particularly in businesses that would create more jobs and will promote the life and welfare of the Filipino people.

“Members of TDG are constantly encouraged to find opportunities, pursue synergistic new businesses, new markets and innovative business models,” he said.
